SummerFest 2021 – Food, Fun & Fireworks over the ‘Hooch

(Franklin, GA) — The Heard County Chamber of Commerce is excited to continue the tradition of SummerFest on the square in downtown Franklin, GA on Saturday, June 26, 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Folks, young and old, are invited to come out and enjoy great food, good music, street dance, and some fantastic fireworks. Free Admission.

This family-friendly festival will provide a wide array of foods that will surely tantalize your taste buds.

Funnel cakes, BBQ, ice cream, snow cones, hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, philly cheese steak, kabobs, and donuts are some of the many foods that will be available during the festival.

The square in beautiful downtown Franklin, GA will be sizzling as it highlights our local and surrounding area talent.

From 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM we will be entertained by Stevie G of Stevie G and The Rockers.

At 6:00 PM, entertainment will be provided by locals Mike Patterson and Saleen Shaheed, R&B singers.

At 6:45 PM “rumble on the square” will happen featuring duels by Wrestling United.

At 8:00 PM two separate areas will be available to enjoy music. On the square, D.J. Richard will be entertaining festival goers with lively music — playing today’s music and more during a street dance until 10:00 PM.

Also at 8:30 PM, D.J. Rick Gore will be playing hits and patriotic music during the fireworks. So, grab your blankets, friends, and family and watch the fantastic annual fireworks display presented at 9:30 PM over the Chattahoochee River.
