Suspect in Franklin Shooting Surrenders to Law Enforcement

(Franklin) — 20-year-old Yacobian Quintrel Floyd, one of the suspects wanted by Franklin Police in connection with a recent armed robbery and shooting, turned himself to authorities at the Heard County Sheriff’s Office just after noon on Friday.

The surrender came less than 24 hours after a press release was issued by Chief Kevin Hannah of the FPD naming the two suspects publicly for the first time and asking for the public’s help in locating them.

The second suspect, 24-year-old Tevin Cordarryl Henderson, remains at large as the investigation headed up by FPD Investigator Lieutenant Tino Brooks continues.

Henderson is described as a 24-year-old black male, 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Henderson and Floyd are both from the Roanoke area in neighboring Randolph County, AL.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tevin Henderson is asked to contact Chief Kevin Hannah or Lieutenant Tino Brooks of the Franklin Police Department at (706) 675-6624 or local law enforcement in the jurisdiction they are located.

Henderson has active warrants for Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Burglary, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.

The public is reminded not to approach this individual if their location is known and to immediately contact law enforcement.

Floyd remains incarcerated at the Heard County jail at this time.
