The Heard Citizen Athlete of the Month (August)

The Athlete of the Month award winner for August is  Lady Braves softball player Ms. Cali Harrod. Cali, a freshman shortstop, had an outstanding month of August at the plate where she had a batting average of .530, 18 hits, 14 runs scored, 3 doubles, 1 home run, and 12 stolen bases in only 12 games. She also batted .667 with runners in scoring position and had an on base percentage of .600 as well. She accomplished all of this while batting lead-off for the team.   Congratulations Cali !!!
