The robbery and shooting took place at the Glenn Superette store located at the intersection of Rock Mills Road and McCosh Mill Road just inside the Heard/Troup County line.

It was one of four times the same store was robbed or burglarized in 2019, but it was the first time someone was injured. Boswell says there have been no incidents at the location in 2020.
