UPDATE: Senoia plane crash victims identified

(Coweta County, GA) — Two people who were killed Saturday evening in a small plane crash in Coweta County have now been identified.

According to a report today by the Newnan Times-Herald, pilot Mark Nowosielski, 43 of Ocala, FL and passenger Nathan Sorenson, 13 of Senoia, GA were killed.

The plane crashed at around 5:30 PM Saturday on GA HWY 16 at Tinsley Way near Big T Airport in Senoia.

Members from Coweta County Fire Rescue responded to the crash, and both occupants of the plane (a Mustang 2) were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.

Col. James Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office says the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
