(Ephesus) – Jeffrey Polnaja is a man on a mission – a motorcycle trip around the world for peace. Originally from Indonesia, and told that it couldn’t be done, Mr. Polnaja has visited over 78 countries on his motorcycle, and has now made his way to Ephesus, Georgia, visiting friends, David and Amy Woodburn, who have also taken motorcycle trips to various parts of the globe.
Hosted by the Ephesus Public Library, Mr. Polnaja made an appearance at Ephesus Elementary School on Monday, August 26th, to share his experiences with the students there.
Mr. Polnaja did a power point presentation and showed videos of both the joys and the trials of his journey, from viewing vistas of amazing beauty and meeting many interesting people, to being hit by a drunk driver and breaking his arm, being hit by a truck, and having his motorcycle stolen.
But through it all, Mr. Polnaja persevered to spread his message of peace. His motto remains - ‘Never, never give up!’ The next leg of his journey across the United States includes Alabama, Louisiana and Texas.
