Yachiyo to recruit 60 workers in Carrollton next week

(Atlanta, GA) — The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help auto supplier Yachiyo Manufacturing of America recruit more than 60 workers for its facility in Carrollton. The company manufactures plastic fuel tanks and sunroofs for automobiles.

The recruitment will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Murphy Campus of West Georgia Technical College located at 176 Murphy Campus Blvd. in Waco.

The company will be hiring personnel for a new product line expansion.

They are recruiting a new model engineer and a manufacturing coordinator, along with forklift operators, injection molders, material handlers, maintenance technicians, production associates, quality assurance associates, quality-document control staff, and shipping and receiving associates.

ybiDue to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old.

They must also have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). Some work experience or job training is preferred.

GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants in the screening process. Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress business casual to improve their opportunities for jobs. The company will conduct a drug-screening test and background check.
