2015 Heard County Christmas Parade and Event Guide

(Heard County) — Several community Christmas events are taking place this weekend and HeardCitizen.com has combined the information for all of these events below for your convenience.

Events begin today at Powers Crossroads and will continue throughout the weekend.

2015 Christmas Parade and Event Guide

Chrsitmas FeatureFiddlin’ Flea Market Christmas Spectacular and Light Show

(Powers Crossroads) — The Fiddlin’ Flea Market at Powers Crossroads will be hosting their first annual Christmas Spectacular and Light Show this week.

This brand new local mega Christmas event will feature Photos with Santa, a Live Nativity, a Christmas Lighted Village and Shopping Area, a Bonfire, Christmas Music, Christmas Horses/Riding, Live Music, and much more.

The great new holiday destination will be open for a special 4-day Christmas weekend Thursday, December 3 through Sunday, December 6.

The Christmas Spectacular will be open from 1:00-9:00 PM each day.

Limited vendor spaces are still available for community groups and other vendors who wish to sell arts, crafts, homemade goodies, etc.

Chattahoochee Christmas 2015

(Franklin) — The square in downtown Franklin will once again play host to the annual Chattahoochee Christmas celebration on December 4, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The theme for this year’s festival is “It takes a Village.”

Admission is free and the celebration will feature food, drinks, music, arts & crafts, the lighting of the tree, and holiday music as well as photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Heard County Sheriff’s Office Annual Toy Drive to benefit local, needy children.

Ephesus Christmas Parade and Bazaar

(Ephesus) — The annual City of Ephesus Christmas Parade and Bazaar will take place this Saturday, December 5.

The lineup for the parade will begin at 9:30 at the Hoyt Rogers Field, and the parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

We would like to invite any businesses or organizations to enter a float this year. Contact the Ephesus City Hall at 770-854-8616 if you would like to sign up.

Immediately following the parade, the EES PTO is hosting the annual Christmas Bazaar and Festival at Ephesus Elementary School. We have lots of vendor opportunities for anyone that would like to have a booth.

We will have Bingo, a Cake Walk, a Toy Walk for Kids and much more. You can contact Ephesus Elementary at 770-854-4400 for more information.

Town of Centralhatchee Christmas Parade

(Centralhatchee) — Please join the Town of Centralhatchee to kick off this year’s holiday season with its Annual Christmas Parade.

Citizens, friends and families are encouraged to line the streets of Centralhatchee Parkway and enjoy the parade on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 4:30 p.m.

Following the parade, everyone is invited to the Centralhatchee City Park for the lighting of the Community Christmas tree.

Refreshments will be served at the First Baptist Church of Centralhatchee and Santa will be on hand to greet the kids!
