Authorities seek Rock Mills, Troup burglary suspect

The Randolph Leader

(Randolph County, AL) — On Wednesday, Jan. 27, around 7:30 a.m., a resident on County Road 75 in Rock Mills returned home after leaving for work and noticed a small red Toyota Corolla with no tag sitting in his yard.

The homeowner went to the door of the residence, noticing it had been kicked in. About that time, he encountered a subject in his residence armed with a weapon. The victim fled to the neighbors’ house and contacted 911.

Upon investigation into this, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has learned this has been occurring all over Troup County, Ga., with the same vehicle and description of suspect. The suspect is a black male approximately 6 feet tall and heavy build.

Please if anyone sees anything suspicious, call 911 or local police. Don’t wait too late or until something happens.

RCSO is working with Troup County investigators on this, along with other agencies, to try and get this suspect apprehended.
