BOC Presents Award to Captain Jane Olinger

(Franklin, GA) — The Heard County Board of Commissioners presented a 25 year service award recently to Captain Jane Olinger of the Heard County Sheriff’s Department.

Captain Olinger’s career began with the HCSO on December 7, 1992 and many local public safety officers attended the meeting to honor Captain Olinger as she was presented with the award.

Sheriff Ross Henry spoke in honor of her milestone achievement.

“Jane is just one of those employees that you just can’t replace. She does so much, I don’t even know where to start to tell you and you wouldn’t believe all the things she does do,” stated Sheriff Henry. “Jane, I appreciate your loyalty, your service and I love ya. The good thing about Jane is she is young enough to give the county another 25 years.”
