Shooting Suspect Arrested in Kansas

24-year-old Tevin Cordarryl Henderson was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Kansas Tuesday evening

(Wichita, KS) — 24-year-old Tevin Cordarryl Henderson, the second suspect in the December 29, 2014 shooting and armed robbery on Mary Johnson Drive was arrested near Wichita, Kansas tonight.

According to a report by lead investigator Lieutenant Tino Brooks of the Franklin Police Department, Henderson was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals around 9:00 p.m. at the home of a friend of Henderson that formerly resided in Alabama.

Henderson will remain in custody at the Sedgwick County jail until he waives an extradition hearing or is extradited back to Georgia through the court systems.

Henderson has active warrants for Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Burglary, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime relating to the December 29 shooting and armed robbery of Franklin resident Sharome Watts.

The second suspect in the case, 20-year-old Yacobian Quintrel Floyd turned himself into Heard County authorities on January 10 — less than 24 hours after both men’s names were released to the public.

Henderson and Floyd are first cousins and both are believe to have last resided in the Roanoke, AL area.
