Christmas Shopping on the Franklin Square

The Arts and Crafts booths at A Chattahoochee Candy Cane Christmas will provide a good way to get some Christmas shopping done locally.

Items such as artwork, Christmas wreaths, scented candles, handmade purses, jewelry, Christmas ornaments, Christmas decorations, homemade goodies, jams and jellies and gift baskets, Pampered Chef items, aprons, girl’s dresses and hair bows will be offered in booths around the square.

These booths and the food booths will be set up by 5:00 p.m. on Friday December 2nd when the event gets underway.

A big Christmas Parade featuring the Heard County High School Marching Band will come around the square starting at 6:30 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride into town and will be on hand at the “North Pole” (the gazebo) for children to tell him what they want for Christmas.

A photographer will be available.  Kids of all ages can have their picture taken with The Grinch also.

There will be Christmas entertainment throughout the night from the stage in front of Capt. Billy’s.  Come join in the fun.
