(Coweta County) — The World Languages Department of East Coweta High School recently invited Georgia middle and high schools to participate in the 4th Annual East Coweta High School World Languages Poetry Recitation Competition.

Each student presented two memorized poems from the provided list on Saturday, November 12.

Three honors students from Heard County High School took top awards at the Spanish I level.

“I was very pleased this year with the outcome as it was the first language competition for each of these language students,” said HCHS Spanish teacher Mr. Lee Burson.
