Heard County Transit Reopening Plan

(Franklin, GA) — Heard County Transit has reopened transportation services to the public as of June 15, 2020.

To ensure the safety of all passengers and drivers, Heard Transit has installed sneeze guards and will require all passengers to wear a mask.

Seats will be blocked off to comply with the 6 ft social distancing requirements.

Transportation provided only within Heard County only until further notice.

All trips will require 24 hours advance reservations, there will be no same day trips. This will allow extra time for Heard County Transit to follow cleaning protocol in between riders.

Please be patient with service as Heard Transit tries to navigate through the Pandemic while keeping everyone safe.

Heard Transit is a small office with two full-time and two part-time employees so you may not always get an answer when you call, but if you will leave a message with your name and number someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks to everyone for your patience and Heard County Transit looks forward to serving you!
