There is a woman in Germany that has been collected Barbie’s for 60 years. She holds the Guinness World Record with over 17,000!

A Barbie purchased for $3 in 1959 can now be worth as much as $25,000!

James Stewart Chapter, NSDAR, would like to invite you to our next meeting to see some of these collectibles from different countries.

Please plan to bring your daughter, granddaughter or just yourself to our next meeting on Saturday, March 14th, at 10:00 am, at Bank of the Ozarks in downtown Franklin.

Our guest speaker will be Amy Caouette and her unique collection.

We will also be meeting and hearing from our 2019 Mayflower Essay Chapter winner, Kathryn Gray, from Heard County Middle School.

Refreshments will be served after the program and one lucky person will taking a Barbie home with her.

The DAR is not active just in the United States. Our international members have 20 chapters and 11 different countries around the world. We are a service organization founded in 1890 to promote Historic Preservation, Education and Patriotism.

Membership is open to any woman 18 years and older that wants to give back to her county and her country and can prove direct lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution.
