James Stewart Chapter NSDAR announces outstanding junior

Elizabeth Chapman (L) with Regent Pam Lyle (R)

(Franklin, GA) — Junior members in the DAR are young women ages 18 to 35.

The Outstanding Junior Contest began in 1963 to recognize and honor young women who have truly promoted the aims and purposes of the national society, as well as participated in their community activities.

The James Stewart Chapter is very proud of each of their junior members but selected one outstanding junior member to represent the chapter and our community at State Conference next spring in Atlanta.

Elizabeth Grace Chapman was nominated and elected to be Outstanding Junior at our recent meeting. Her dedication to the goals and purpose of the NSDAR can be seen in her service work in the community.

Elizabeth serves on the Executive Board for the chapter, currently chairs two chapter committees and was recently asked to serve on a State Committee.

Elizabeth is employed at Carroll EMC during the day and attends law school at night.
