Local resident crowned 2015 Miss PruittHealth

(Franklin) — PruittHealth of Franklin sponsored a Beauty Pageant on Thursday May 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM. The emcee for the program was Sheila Moody, the DHS at PruittHealth.

Contestants were Mrs. Ella Wright of Franklin, Georgia, Mrs. Annie Wilkes of Franklin, Georgia, Ms. Terry Helton of Newnan Georgia, Ms. Sarah Blocker of Augusta, Georgia,  Ms. Christine Jordan of Midway Alabama and Ms. Judith Beach of Miami, Florida.

These six ladies competed for the title “Ms. PruittHealth Franklin 2015.

The ladies were escorted into the room to the song “My Heart Will Go On.”

The judges for the pageant were Ms. Jennifer Meacham, Mrs. Floyce Kilby, Mrs. Patsy Hamil, and Mrs. Tommie McKeever.

The four judges asked the each of the contestants one question and based their decision upon the contestant’s response along with their beauty.

Mrs. Ella Wright of Franklin was the 1st Runner Up and Mrs. Annie Wilkes of Franklin was crowned Ms PruittHealth of Franklin 2015.

Mrs. Wilkes delighted the crowd with her hilarious answers. She was asked, “If you could have one thing what would it be?” Wilks reply, “A gun!”

After the shocked crowd stopped laughing she told everyone that she used to love to hunt and fish and always looked for snakes before coming to stay at PruittHealth of Franklin.

When asked “What wise advise would you give a 20 year old girl today?” she replied, “Sleep with an aspirin between your knees until you are united in marriage.”

Another question asked was “If you had one wish what would it be?” Wilkes stated, “I wish I could eat all I want when I want.” The crowd was filled with laughter once again by her answer.

All the ladies were lovely and each had wonderful responses to the judge’s questions. Many of the residents of PruittHealth Franklin attended the pageant along with many family members.

The pageant was a huge success. Although only one winner could be chosen, all six beautiful ladies were outstanding. -Times~Journal
