Mr. Bradley Milam

Mr. Bradley Otha Milam, age 86 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, November 03, 2017.

He was born June 28, 1931 in Franklin, Georgia to the late Joseph Otha Milam and Jewel Blackwelder Milam.

He graduated from Centralhatchee High School in 1948, proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, and later enjoyed a 23 year career with the Southwire Co.

He was a 50 year member of the Carroll Lodge #69 F&AM and a member of Roopville Road Baptist Church where he was a part of the Friendship II Sunday School Class.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Danny Paul Milam, Gerald Milam, Vicki Milam, and Nancy Milam McKenzie.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Nell Holdridge Milam of Carrollton; his daughters and sons in law, Lisa Milam Jackson (David), and Kristi  Milam Kee (Wayne); two brothers, Tommy Milam and Durward Milam; three sisters, Becky Milam Pope, Barbara Milam Wilson, and Brenda Milam Morris; grandchildren, Jamie Jackson Helinski (Kris), Landon Burl Jackson (Ashley), William Nathan Lanxton, Bailey Kee Dodd (Darryl), Zachary Alan Lanxton, and Murphi Jewel Kee; and one great grandchild, Kaleb Joseph Helinski.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Roopville Road Baptist Church with Dr. Stephen Peeples officiating. His body will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM.

Pallbearers will be David Jackson, Landon Jackson, Will Lanxton, Zach Lanxton, Kristopher Helinski, and Wayne Kee. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Friendship II Sunday School Class.

Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with American Legion Post #143 making the flag presentation and Carroll Lodge #69 F&AM providing Masonic Rites.
