Mr. Rex Alford

Mr. Thomas Rex Alford, age 46, of Warm Springs passed away October 7, 2021.

His funeral will be held in the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home Monday October 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Brian Redding officiating.

The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Monday afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service.

Rex was born November 8, 1974 in Coweta County to Thurman Rex “Rip” Alford and the late Linda Dianne Holley Brown. He was a Christian by faith.

He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He loved his country and considered it a great honor to have served the USA in the armed forces.

Among his favorite pastimes was going to the gun range for target practice. He enjoyed learning about guns and knives. He was also an avid outdoorsman and liked to go hunting and fishing.

His most precious times were spent with his family, who he dearly loved. He liked to sing classic country songs and watch movies.

Survivors include: his father and step-mother, Rip and Diann Alford; three daughters: Sherry Warren (Josh) of Washington State, Kaitlynn Alford of Newnan, and Demi Alford of Newnan; one sister, Holly Stubbs of Franklin; one brother, Jason Alford (Taylor) of Grantville; nieces, Haylie Alford and Sadie Alford; nephews, John Stubbs, Jr. and Nathan Alford; and a number of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Dianne and Tim Brown, and a son, Timothy Rex Alford.
