Mrs. Annie Lee Hyatt

Mrs. Annie Lee Hubbard Hyatt, age 87, of Carrollton passed away September 29, 2017.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hyatt were conducted October 1, 2017 from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home. Family and friends brought kind remarks and remembrances of her life.

Interment followed in Centralhatchee First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hubbard was born October 27, 1929 in Troup County to the late Robert James Hubbard and Verdie Lee Cupp Hubbard. She was a Baptist by faith.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always stayed busy around the house. She liked to read, draw and paint. She also enjoyed crocheting. Her many creations will bring back memories for years to come. Among her favorite outdoor activities were gardening, fishing and camping.

Survivors include two daughters, Jane Milam (Mal) of Franklin and Pam Lane (Allen) of Carrollton; two sons, Skip Hyatt (Debbie) of Franklin and Robert Hyatt of LaGrange; son-in-law, Saul Cohen of New York; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Newman Reese Hyatt, Sr.; daughter, Debra Cohen; son, Joe Hyatt; grandson, T. J. Hyatt; one sister; and three brothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Miss Annie.
