Mrs. Nancy Lea Bartlett Stallings, age 66 of Franklin, Georgia passed away on February 4, 2015 at the Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stallings were conducted on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. from the Stutts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shannon Lovelady officiating.

A private family internment was conducted on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Stallings was born in Charlotte Michigan, the daughter of the late Hoyt Bartlett and Mildred Kathleen Burchfield Bartlett. She was a Christian by faith.

Her career in the aluminum industry began when she was in high school where she served a two year internship in the local factory as an administrative assistant. This job led her to receive a promotion to the Franklin Aluminum Company where she worked in the Quality Control for thirty eight years.

At the time of her retirement she was the manager of her department.  Her tremendous work ethic was a great inspiration to her family, those that she worked for, and all those that worked under her direct supervision.

From a very early age she showed a great talent in many craft items. She, along with her mother and sister’s had their own company “Mom and Me Craft Company.” Each family member had their own special designs, hers being miniature doll house accessories.  Her work was very meticulous due to the size of the art work.

Whether it was cross stitching tiny pictures or quilting coverlets her work was exceptional! In later years she moved to larger projects, and developed a joy of cooking wonderful candies and hand decorated seasonal cookies. She loved collecting cookie cutters and recently reported to family members that she had over six hundred.

The real joy of her life was her family. She was happiest when in the presence of her children and grandchildren! She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Christina Williams, and Jennifer and Joshua Walls all of Franklin, GA.; two sisters, Linda and Don Wertz of Charlotte, MI., and Sally and Don Erndt of Hale, MI.; one brother, Steven Bartlett of Charlotte, MI.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Matthew Stallings and sister, Sandy Bartlett.
