Ms. Nancy Aldridge Bradley

Nancy Aldridge Bradley, age 78 of Roopville, Georgia passed away August 13, 2017.

She was born December 19, 1938 in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Ed Aldridge and Mary McCormick Aldridge.

She graduated from Bowdon High School and received a certificate in Certified Nursing Assistance from Carroll Tech School. She previously worked for Bowdon Hospital and retired from Tanner Medical Center.

After her retirement, she continued serving in the medical field by offering private duty nursing.She was a member of Veal Baptist Church where she was a long term member of the church choir, very active with their youth ministry, and made it a habit to make sure the pastor had water before every service.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Linda Marie Bradley, Jimmy Bradley, and Marvin Bradley, Jr.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Whitton of Roopville; nieces, Debbie Whitton Wallace and Brenda Whitton; nephew, Mike Whitton; special caregiver, Savannah McGinnis; several great nieces and great nephews; and a number of great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and her beloved pet, Pico.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Doug Bingham and Rev. Ralph Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Mike Whitton, James Wallace, Kenneth Marlow, Duane Marlow, David Eady, and Tim Eady.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
