Municipal General Election Notice

(Heard County, GA) — Important information regarding the Municipal General Election to be held November 5, 2019:

This is the Municipal General Election for the Town of Centralhatchee and the City of Ephesus.

Only those registered voters whose address of record is within the city limits of the respective cities are eligible for this election.

The registration deadline was Monday October 7, 2019. You must have registered to vote on or before this date to be eligible to vote in the Election. If you have moved or changed your name since you last voted or registered, this is also the deadline for any changes in your name or address.

If you are unsure about your registration status, you can go to the Secretary of State’s “My Voter Page” at and enter the requested information, or you may call the Elections and Registration Office.

If you or someone you know would like an absentee ballot, you may apply for one in person, print an application online, or call the Elections and Registration Office at 706-675-3907 to request an application. The final day you may apply for an absentee ballot is November 1, 2019.

Times for advance (early) voting are as follows:

Oct 14 – 18 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Oct 21 – 25 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Oct 28 – Nov 1 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

All early voting will take place in the Elections and Registration Office located in the Heard Health Center (1191 Franklin Pkwy Franklin, GA 30217).
