Prayer Vigil for missing mother tonight in Downtown Franklin

(Franklin, GA) — A Prayer Vigil for Natalie Jones will be held at 8:30 PM tonight (Saturday) near the Chattahoochee River in Downtown Franklin.

The 27-year-old Heard County resident has been missing for almost a full week.

There have been no confirmed sightings of Natalie since early Sunday morning on July 5.

She was last seen near Jackson’s Gap in east Alabama but authorities also believe she may have been in the Heard County/West Georgia area based on the last official contact with her phone around the same time period.

A Georgia State Patrol aviation team searched the Heard County area extensively via helicopter Wednesday in search of the young mother of two but were unable to locate her.

Heard County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Dan Boswell believes locating Jones’s Hot Pink 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with blue stripes and Georgia License Plate RVE6177 is most crucial to the investigation.

Lt. Boswell says it is very important that if someone does locate the vehicle that it remain untouched and undisturbed prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

Family and friends have worked tirelessly since her disappearance by sharing photos and information through social media, forming small additional searches, and posting flyers throughout the East Alabama/West Georgia area.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Natalie Jones or her missing vehicle, you are asked to call Lt. Dan Boswell at 706-675-3329 or Heard County 911.

It has also been suggested that any homeowners in the area with road facing cameras check footage for her bright pink cavalier pictured below.

A reward is also being offered if she is found.

The address for tonight’s vigil is 25 Glover Road at the Old Recreation area directly across from the Dollar General on Franklin Pkwy. Click here for directions.
