Primary Runoff Election Voter Information

vote 66(Franklin) — Absentee ballots for the Primary Runoff Election to be held July 26, 2016 are now available.

The only race on the Runoff Election is the Republican Primary for US House of Representatives from the 3rd Congressional District of Georgia.

If you would like an absentee application, you may call the Voter Registration Office directly at 706-675-3907, or visit their web site at http://www.heardcountyga.com/voterReg.html.

There is a link to a printable, downloadable absentee application. The form must be printed out and signed.

Under certain circumstances, a relative may apply for an absentee ballot for another individual. Contact the Voter Registration Office for more information.

You may submit your absentee application by one of the following methods: 

Mailed to:     Heard County Board of Registrars

                          PO Box 427

                          Franklin, GA 30217 

E-mailed to: tadams@heardcountyga.com 

Faxed to:    706-675-0819 

The last day you may apply for an absentee ballot is July 22, 2016.

Early Voting will be held during the following dates and times: 

July 5 – 8    8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

July 11 – 15    8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

July 18 – 22    8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 

Please note that there is NO Saturday Voting for the Runoff Election. If you typically use that day to early vote, you are encouraged to apply for an absentee ballot.
